Munich - Rise & Reckoning
Where the movement began, how it staged itself in civic space, and how the city later reckoned with that history. The route moves through Konigsplatz, the Feldherrnhalle, the White Rose memorial at the university, and other sites where resistance, compliance, and post-war remembrance still sit close together in the urban fabric. We read facades, memorials, and street plans alongside the record so the city is not treated as backdrop, but as evidence. The walking route keeps the emphasis on context, showing how the same streets held propaganda, fear, and later public memory in the same frame.
